Reviews and Ratings
I had a delightful stay at the hotel with a cozy room and excellent service, though accessing the room through the emergency stairway was a bit inconvenient. The location was fantastic with great surroundings and food, but the distance from other places might not suit everyone.
The hotel room was enormous, as was the bathroom, complete with two basins, a bidet, and a jacuzzi, and they had even thought of everything you would need, including an alarm clock. The main door was unlocked, but we weren't sure which room was ours. The service was exceptional, with kind, helpful, and fun staff that made our evening even more enjoyable. However, there were some letdowns, like being unable to arrange a meeting room for a reasonable price and having to make multiple phone calls during check-in. The location, although pleasant and relaxing, was marred by a lack of attention to detail and management issues. The dining experience provided excellent choices but with some minor inconveniences. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout highlights.
The hotel seemed a bit tired and outdated, a bit like a nursing home at 5 am. Despite the gloomy weather, the location was convenient, especially for events at Wembley Stadium. The service was welcoming and genuine, even helping resolve guest billing issues on our wedding day. The dining experience was a pleasant surprise, providing a much-needed pick-me-up for a friend recovering from surgery.
My stay at the hotel was lovely. Although there wasn't any air conditioning, having lovely open doors onto the garden made it very peaceful. The rooms were amazing with full-size iron and iron board, ample storage, a proper kettle, and real ground coffee/cafetiere. The automatic lights in the bathroom were a nice touch, even though the alarm clock went off at 7:15.
The hotel has a family-run feel with very friendly service that goes above and beyond, especially considering its proximity to London. The location is stunning and allows for unwinding, although it can get noisy during events. The dining offers tasty options but may feel slightly cost-conscious in presentation.
